Avoca Ballsbridge Food Market

I went for breakfast with three friends we all ate breakfast and had 2 coffees each. At 12.20 the waitress came over and said you need to leave this table it is booked and you can pay at the till. The restaurant was half full there were plenty of other tables and it was a Thursday. Absolutely awful way to treat your customers ..no manners , no apology or asking us if we could move to another table..we wanted to order more but after that service we left. The Avoca food and product is excellent but your service is beyond acceptable. If I am paying above the normal for high end product I expect the service to match. Very disappointing and this is the 2nd time this has happened to me with different groups that I have gone with. Never again. Take away only.

An absolute delight. The whole store looks very clean, calm and trendy. It makes you wanna eat everything. Will go shopping again those amazing crispy chickens for sure

Really nice place to eat something fast and taking a nice coffee. Obviously we need to mention that Avoca is not a cheap place. Definitely something that would be interesting to work on it.

This place has a good selection of food for takeaway or preparing at home. It is on the more expensive end of the market, but you do get what you pay for! I recommend the 'salad and protein ' boxes combined with a wrap this absolutely defeated me for dinner one evening, it was very filling. It 's nice to have a proper salad to eat too, not just lettuce! They also have a cheese counter, bakery area and more elaborate cakes just upstairs. The wine selection is very broad although on the expensive end of the spectrum. It looked as though there were some clothes etc for sale but I didn 't look at them in any detail so can 't comment. Not sure about opening hours. It 's a step free entrance but there are steps inside the shop to access about half of the items; not sure what accessibility options there are if steps are a problem. There is a formal restaurant area at the very back but it was closed when I visited so I can 't comment. Judging by the shop I suspect it 'll be high quality.
