L`Osteria - Duisburg

We leave the car. we wanted to eat some Italian food and found it. good food. good service. I would say it is more than average, but not enough to get a very good one. affordable.

Beautiful restaurant to go with friends and pasta or to eat a huge and tasty pizza. the prices on the menu are great, most dishes cost less than 10 €. the personal is nice, but the service can be a little slow during the rush hours. I waited for more than 30 minutes to get a table on a Wednesday night, but got a free glass of wine on the bar. absolutely recommended.

We were on 02/07/2017 about 15:00 clock before location. the restaurant was pretty full what is positiw. it has a very modern semi-industrial atmosphere with a beautiful tiled stone kitchen. the waiter at the reception was unfortunately quite unfriendly and has stopped us and let us wait a whole past at the bar, although many tables were empty and other coming customers were already sitting somewhere in love. our table-kellnerin was very friendly, visited our table but rather rare when compared to the normal Italian friendly hosting style. eating was great, very tasty and great portions. therefore we gave this restaurant such a high point. the personal has to pay a little more attention to table and customer-friendliness. the number of waiters per area and table is also low, which is why we have seen our friendly waitress so rarely. the location makes tasty eating, but not suitable for formal business dinner or dinner, as the service must be improved.

We were 2 weeks ago as part of a family (canadically, British and German) and we were happy to get a few menus in English and even be served in English. there is a beautiful atmosphere in the inner and the personal is very friendly and courteous - can't stand anything at all! ! make sure they are hungry, because especially the pizzas are generous and extremely large. I like the idea that the kitchen is wide open so that they can see how to eat almost before their eyes. will definitely come back when I am back in duisburg. thank you

Pizza is really good and although the price may seem high, that is what they get huge. the waiters are very friendly and the location is right at the harbour with a good view. I will come back!
