Nicolls - Dundee City

Just returned from lunch at Nicolls, visit started off badly when had reserved a table and on arrival NO table ready so waited 15 minutes for a table to be prepared. Starters ordered arrived well within 2 minutes of platters being cleaned came COLD with cheese over nachos congeal platters cold chilli cold! Had to leave table to get a waitress as all too busy talking and not checking tables, asked for replacement EVENTUALY waitress came to table to remove dish and state new order had been placed. When the second record arrived cold, the chill lurks warm and swimming in liquid. FROZEN? with microwave defrost? Complaining about an argument at our table as once is ok BUT obviously not twice. Very sad as usual to get a good reasonable meal here. But WILL NOT give back

First time here with some friends and really enjoyed it! Was served by a beautiful girl I believe her name was Anna. Great staff, service and atmosphere!

I had a pleasant lunch at this restaurant. They have a wide variety of food options for a casual bar/restaurant, and the prices are quite reasonable. I would definitely come back if I find myself in Dundee again.

Lovely food and big portions too, great service very polite efficient staff. The lasagna was amazing, one of the best I've had in time. If you are in the city center I would recommend a visit.

We caught up with a few friends from out town tonight and was recommended Nicolls. Was greeted by a lovrly young blonde girl very bubbly personality who recommended a few dishes, building is fantastically impressive and food was delicious will definitely be back for the...service food and welcoming atmosphere , thanks again thoroughly enjoyed .
