Miguel's Mex Tex Cafe

Sitting here eating great Chips and salsa and watching everyone around us getting there food and we have been here longer. Can't seem to get the drinks right also. Food came rare steak has no pink whatsoever. The pesky flies that we couldn't get rid of enjoyed the meal.

Great atmosphere, food and service. Jason H was attentive to every detail of our meal.

This was our 2nd visit to Miguel’s (May 2024 . We discovered this amazing “Mex Tex” restaurant last spring on our road trip to Alpine and intentionally built a return visit into our travel plan this spring! Their courtyard patio seating is such an intriguing and festive setting for a late spring evening dinner drinks. Main reason for our review is to give a shout out to our server Mia who was delightful, attentive and enjoyable to visit with. If you’re going to be stopping over in Abilene on a road trip, be sure to check out Miguel’s! (And ask for Mia!

I didn't really like the margaritasBut the bartender, Morgan was cool

Finally ate here at Miguels this past week and it was great. We were sat outdoors on a perfect evening, and Sarah(our server) was amazing! The food, drinks and atmosphere were all very enjoyable.
