DBA'S Family Dining is a rare jewel in the municipality. The food is wonderful and you can say that the secret ingredient is added to every single dish from the kitchen LOVE. Tell no one! The owners are hands on the entire culinary experience so that you are satisfied. It shows in a facility when the owners, it is all the time, with pride in their place and want to show it to you. On our first experience there we stopped one night and did not know it was close to the closing time. I'm sure they just wanted to go home, but they welcomed us openly without hesitation and made us welcome. The food and hospitality were so wonderful that we came back a few weeks later. Even though we were there once, they remembered our names and some things we had ordered for the first time when we were there. The lounge has some great offers for those who need a place to host a small to medium adult meeting. The woodwork and styling have real pride and craftsmanship through the mood lighting in the bar area. Overall, it is a wonderful place to go for some fine dishes. Great! Very friendly and personal!! Family-oriented!!! A fantastic value!!!!

The owners/workers were so nice! the food was actually near perfect. The prices are the best I have ever encountered in life! Period, no exaggeration! I ordered the DBA skillet no mushrooms a 1/2 order of french toast. I was in town visiting family a cousin brought me here. Im 2 hrs from DBA's, too bad!

This place has extremely large portions delicious food very friendly service and I highly recommend that you all come here to eat because they have a big variety menu and everybody is nice and sweet and the food is great. And my margarita she even gave me an extra glass of tequila so that I can feel really good much love to my waitress Benita.

Best restaurant food I've had in a while. The price is excellent. Stopped here on my way back to Chicago. Didn't want to pay the outrageous prices at the casino. Great find.

I occasionally work in East Chicago and there are not many good places to eat in the area for lunch. I finally found a place! Great food, and good prices. Plus, its Black owned! Can't beat it...
