On the outside terrace your view is of a building, there are kids kicking soccer balls underneath you, smoking in front of a non-smoking sign, dirty water glasses, etc. A table that sat after us was served before us. Our waitress was not nice. She asked us how our food was while she was walking by, literally didn 't stop at all??... I wanted to ask for a refill of water but she kept walking. Every time we asked for something she made us know it was an inconvenience to her, and when we said thank you she just walked away without a word. I don 't want her to get fired so I won 't include her name. I don 't know if she had a rough day or what but I felt bad for eating there! I feel like I could eat the food they serve in a better looking/nicer staffed environment.
Recently had my wedding at Five Furlongs and if I were able to give them 10 stars I would. The food first of all was delicious, my family and friends went up for seconds and thirds which isn’t common for a wedding. They offered a wide variety of choices which was great for everyones taste. The steaks and salmon were freshly cooked on a huge bbq right in front of everyone by executive chef Santiago. The staff were friendly and attentive to my guests, and the venue itself was perfect. Quaint, with the beautiful touch of country. There’s a waterfall next to the twinkling lights where you can have your cocktail hour, it’s magical. Sitting area along the back with chairs and sofas gave everyone a relaxing space to enjoy conversations. The new wedding pavilion in its rustic charm has beautiful chandeliers to add that special touch, and the architecture inside the pavilion is something to see. Also provides shelter from the hot sun or if it rains, you’re covered no matter what. There’s a fire pit which adds for the perfect atmosphere. The manager Connie is a pleasure to work with very accommodating, flexible and will help you bring together the perfect wedding day. They went above and beyond to make our wedding dream come true. I would recommend furlongs to anyone looking for a wedding venue, you won’t regret it.
Food was delicious, the wings were some of the best we’ve had in awhile. We saw them delivered to a nearby table and had to jump on it. French onion soup was super tasty cheesy. We had to wait for a spoon to eat it, but it worked out because it needed to cool down. The only downside was the service was really slow. We waited for almost half an hour after our plates were cleared and still didn’t get our check until we walked to the bar. It was a Sunday night, so they could’ve been short staffed.
The worst service and food we have had in a long time. The place was mostly empty and it still took over an hour to get a burger and wings! In that hour we never were asked for a drink or any service. When the food finally arrived it was ridiculously cheap food. Frozen burger patty on a cheap bun and frozen French fries. It was gas station food at nice restaurant prices!
The menu is a little limited but everything is good..
