Michael's Bistro - East Renfrewshire

Ate our evening meal here as we were staying at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Couldn’t have been nicer. We got a cocktail pitcher which was only £14.95 but we got over 6 glasses from it! Every course we ate was extremely tasty so we left very satisfied if a little full!! We had a wonderful meal and I’d highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back!

Arrived to day with 3 friends. Shown to table by a young lady. Very courteous,polite.Jugs of water were provided.Some time later appeared back asking for our order.We asked about the Christmas menu she was not sure,I will find out.(Really). She arrived back with a pad and read out out what was available.Honestly..10 days from Christmas and you do not have a menu.OK..What is the cost for 2 courses or 3.. EH....Will be back.. Decisions made. Wine ordered .Brought to the table.Not what I had ordered..Asked about this ...I am told we do not have this wine anymore..What you provided was more expensive...The meal was terrible.The vegetables were not cooked they were brick hard and for the turkey it was not certainly fresh..To charge £110.00 I think you want to look at your practises very carefully in the future.A very dissatisfied customer...Cheers. Celebrating wife’s birthday on 3rd October 20020. Place was busy but after ordering our drinks we then ordered our meal when the drinks arrived. We had to wait nearly 45 mins for it to arrive and we were to.d twice during that period it was just coming. I ordered Fish and chips costing nearly £12.00. Edible but that was all. A handful of skinny chips and one small piece of battered haddock about 9” in length. Other meals ordered were ok......passable.. bottle of prosseco, ginger beer and lime and two cokes plus Two pre theatres meals, two courses for £12.95 and Salmon. Total cost £94 Waitresses were very nice but for the price and quantity of the meal and time waited to get it served..........poor

Food not good at all, only eat here as it was handy as staying in hotel. Would recommend to not make this mistake. Table beside ours sent back 3 out of 4 dishes also.

We had a meal from the £12.95 for 2 courses menu. It was awful. The dipping bread was hard and had obviously been heated in the microwave to try to revive it. Fish goujons and chips were dry with little flavour. I have been to this restaurant several times. Each time I hope it improves but it doesn't . Safe option is a pizza. they are always very nice.
