Sat on balcony of the hotel with a pot of tea...2.25 great value...i get tea full in pot...hot water in pot and buscuit..enough for 3 cups....the service at the bar was warm and proffesional.. Due to the amazing servi e im not looking onlime at the deals for a stay cation...traditional standards of service consisting of mannors....cleanliness and supper value...amazing views from here...a real gem of this town. Thank you

Very surprised that the restaurant isn't more popular with local people as the food is always really good with friendly service and a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Spacious tables, nice decor and love the traditional lounge. Over the years I have never had a bad meal here and it's nice to get dressed up too. I would think that they do vegetarian and gluten free dishes and we have been to the restaurant with our grandchildren in the past.

The meal we had was dreadful. The gravy was thick and tasteless and the roast potatoes were like rocks.

This place is dropping to bits it wants a total refurbishment or demolishing. To add insult to injury the breakfast was awful and the waitress idea of cleaning a table was to brush the crumbs onto the floor with her hand then seat the next guest. Avoid like the plague

Book a table with a sea view and enjoy some great food from a wide menu and all at decent prices . I had a seafood salad starter with scallops , prawn , mussels and squid and a Tomahawk pork steak and veg with a a decent pint and it was under £25
