Feedback gevenWe have eaten here countless times Our favourite place to eat in TAMWORTH , this is a top quality establishment that we always enjoy
I chose The Workshop for lunch for 3 of us to celebrate my father's 94th birthday. I requested a quieter part of the restaurant for my hearing impaired parents. We were thoughtfully seated in a great spot. The staff were so welcoming, attentive, helpful and friendly. They were also very helpful with getting us in and seated as I was concerned about my parents' mobility. We had a bruschetta and dips entree to share that was delicious. My parents both had local trout, a small portion for my Mum was a very welcome option. I had red snapper which was so tasty. We all enjoyed our meals. Beautiful fish. Great presentation. And the renovation is really lovely. Such a warm ambience now. Thank you Workshop, we will be back.
We were very excited to try the Workshop after traveling past a few times and seeing the refurbishments. So during our last stay in Tamworth we decided to have dinner here. The bruschetta was ordinary for entree and the mains were average and overpriced. The biggest plus was the service was excellent.
We dined here for lunch on Saturday and was not impressed at all. While the service was good the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered pork belly sorry not available. Next we had bruschetta which was not toasted and had green tomato and onion which was sliced but not cut into pieces so was one big chunk. The lamb I ordered was not cooked as I had ordered. Then the dessert was a piece of burnt pastry with just a couple of pieces of apple.
Very impressed with the renovations but the food is what is important and it was great. I had a fish dish on the lunch menu and it was great had a very lovely dessert with marshmallow, but share as it was big. Great place to take anyone that has hearing problems as you can talk as it is not noisy there which is great. Will take my Dad there next time, as he will be able to enjoy a meal and conversation which a lot of places he cant.
