The Doo Bop Diner - EAST TOOWOOMBA

I hadn't visited the restaurant in some time, so I was surprised to find that it had transitioned from "Simply Seafood" to a casual takeout option.

After reading good things about this restaurant, I had high hopes for a special meal. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the burgers we ordered. The steak was extremely tough, there was barely any sauce, and the burgers were served in partially defrosted buns with wilted salad. The meal was overpriced and lacked flavor. I would recommend making your own burgers at home instead.

I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Despite all the advertising promoting a fun 50's atmosphere, the reality was far from exciting - it was surprisingly quiet inside. The food also fell short of my expectations; it was made with cheap ingredients and lacked flavor. In the end, it felt more like a basic fish and chip shop with a James Dean picture on the wall.

We went here for breakfast after a night out in Toowoomba. The coffee is awesome, the food is huge and awesome and the staff are terrific and very friendly.. The diner has a very family orientated feel and welcome children. Love the hot chips & you get Soooooo many compared to other places!
