The quiche was old, overdone, bone dry, and the lasagne about the same, both luke warm. Service was slow, had to step up from table to ask where our food was. Price was expensive with a 15% holiday loading. This is not how we remember this cafe/restaurant of a year ago. Will not be going back
The antipasti plate was large and varied. Probably my best selection from here to-date. The coffee was a little lukewarm but good otherwise.
Chosen by another colleague I have been to this cafe a few times, for some reason it is not a favorite of mine - however many other people like it. Noise level is fine - it always feels cold t me even when it is not. Staff are pleasant, I havent tasked food here.
Love it here as you can see as they make what your getting to your table, very clean tasty meals wonderful coffee and excellent service. Don't need anymore that that
I used to associate this place previously for all the delicious european gourmet delights available such as cold meats, cheeses, olives etc etc. It's been a while since we've gone there again so we decided to go for brekkie. My order was avocado and goats cheese (on toasted sourdough?? bread) with lime. I do like to try different things from the normal breakfast menus that are on offer everywhere. On a positive note it was very tasty indeed and was actually better than what I was anticipating. 2 slices of toasted bread with the topping and a couple of wedges of lime on the side. The servings I thought were quite small. The size of the bread was the size of a closed fist (I have a small fist), so for the price of just under $14, I didn't really think it was value for money, but having said that the ingredients aren't cheap to buy either. The coffees were piping hot (burnt the mouth on the first sip). I am used to places where coffee temperature is measured, so if you like your coffee hot, then this place is for you.The selection available as far as cakes and pastries is definitely less than it used to be previously, but if you're looking for a quiet place to meet with friends and enjoy a cuppa or a breakfast or lunch, then this could be the cafe for you. It's very clean and the staff are friendly and the service is fairly quick, but they weren't actually really busy when we went (10am ish). I noticed on the menu that the full breakfast was $25 so I would be interested to see how big and good the quality is for that price. It's not quite the 'buzzing' busy place that it used to be but the 'menu' and variety on offer isn't the same anymore either. As always, give it a go for yourself and you be the judge.
