Pastarru Pizzaria - Eau Claire

The Plus has re-opened. The pizza is excellent, and my wife and I were regular almost weekly patrons prior to the pandemic. A couple of weeks ago was probably our last visit. We were denied service. After sitting down at the bar, like we had previously and were served, we watched patrons enter and be greeted and served at the bar and tables. We were not greeted or asked what we wanted. We tried making small talk with the bartender, who mentioned a big group was coming in soon. After about 20 minutes the bartender just walked away into the back room, so we left. We are both seniors and enjoy going out to eat quite a bit around Eau Claire. We have a regular rotation of restaurants every week, and we tip very well! It was not very busy, and very insulting to be ignored.

In town for concert decided to go out for pizza some in the party ordered thin crust I tried a slice actually pretty good why because my first deep dish was burnt when I received the second deep dish it was also burnt. However this is not a deep dish pizza it is a thin crust pizza that they put in a pan folding the outsides over and put the toppings in the middle. Overall ok

My husband and I were able to go see Matt Wilson and his Orchestra at the plus. The venue was convenient to our hotel across the street and the acoustics were good. We took a pizza back to our hotel that was fabulous. We decided to return the next morning for their buffet which was not at the same caliber. When they went to a focus on quantity, the quality slipped. I would gladly return for another concert.
