The early bird special for the prime rib is great must eat

It's your dive bar kinda seafood fried, grilled, or blackened. Flavor was a bit lacking on the special for a higher price point. My biggest peeve of any restaurant is always rice. Get a dedicated rice cooker and serve real rice. The pilaf tastes like boil in a bag. Staff was amazing though. I'd return and simply order something else. I'd probably have enjoyed the shrimp better.

Parking lot leaves a lot to be desired, not the easiest place to get in and out of, even with a small SUV. Food is worth it though! We all had surf and turf, and prime rib and new york strips all cooked to perfection as were the shrimp! Prices no worse than big chains and the portions are big, so I feel like it is worth the prices. It's a little bit of a dive, but those usually are the best and this one hasn't been disappointing yet! Just park carefully!

My wife and I decided to have dinner at JC's Riptides to try their Prime Rib and Rock Shrimp. Despite advertising both of these meals as house specialties, the prime rib was so, so, and the rock shrimp, nonexistent. The restaurant is in desperate need of repair, and the atmosphere is unimaginative. Our waitress was attentive to our dining needs, but one couldn't help but notice a lack of enthusiasm with her station. All things considered, we won't be back. Darryl Christy
