Bob's Steak Chop House Rio Grande Valley

We were very pleased with our experience. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was the perfect quiet setting for our jubilee dinner.

My wife and I ordered the 14 oz. prime rib au jus. I was surprised to find that the meat wasn't very tender, though it did have good flavor. We also had the mushrooms, which were excellent. My son ordered the same thing along with the mac and cheese, and he said it was the best he’s ever had. The service was outstanding; the staff was very attentive. I would definitely give them high marks.

Everyone received a gift card from the manager, except for my wife and me, and I found that disappointing.

We have eaten all over the world with excellent chefs. We live near Chicago and enjoy fine dining. Bob's Steak and Chop House is excellent for quality of food, service, and fine wine.

Great place to enjoy a night out, not just for a special occasion.
