Feedback gevenThe experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. It took a long time to receive both our starters and main courses. The beef dishes were inedible - the burger meant for a 5 year old was solid and hard, while the main beef meal was congealed and burnt. Even the fish and chips were only half edible as half of it was so hard that it couldn't be cut. Overall, it was a very disappointing choice for a family Christmas meal.
Excellent food and service was very professional and friendly.Stayed overnight,room was fabulous and staff could not do enough for us. We will certainly return.
The best thing about this restaurant is definitely the view which is amazing. It’s a shame the food doesn’t quite match that. My partner had the chicken burger and the burger was very good. It came with chips which were ok and a tiny portion of coleslaw. I had vegetable curry and the sauce and vegetables were tasty, however I paid extra to add chicken tikka which turned out to be a flat, overcooked chewy fillet. At nearly £23 quite pricey for a curry. For dessert I ordered cheesecake which sounded delicious. I was really disappointed when the waitress returned to tell me there was none left. I know sometimes restaurants do run out of things but this was 6.30pm on a Saturday night. The waitress was really apologetic but there was nothing else on the dessert menu I really wanted so we left a bit disappointed.
My wife and I ate there when staying in the hotel one night. The restuarant has lovey views of the bridges, however the music was very loud and we asked to be moved due a speaker above us , the request to move was dealt with no problem. We both had starters and they were both good. We both ordered fillet steaks at £38 each. They were truly appalling, cannot describe accurately the lump of fatty misshapen piece of meat that was put in front of us. One was completely inedible, the other was less then 50 eaten when it was obvious there was nothing left to cut away from the grizzle. The staff were very good and overered us new meals, which we declined. The cost of the steaks was not added to our bill. There is no way these steaks should have left the kitchen to be put in front of a customer. We did receive a call the next day from the manager to discuss our experience. We then received an email offering free meals , this is a nice gesture, however the name on the email was not ours and we therefore have rejected a return visit. This was not a good experience.
Stopped for lunch without a booking. Everything was great, service, food (albeit enormous portions), view and price. Will definitely return
