The restaurant has a nice central setting with friendly and capable staff. However, the dining room is quite noisy. The prices are unreasonably high, with our total bill coming to over 200 euros for just one shared starter, two appetizers, two main courses, one shared dessert, three small tasting glasses of whiskey, and exactly 300cc of wine each. While the food was good, it was not particularly memorable.

This is a fantastic restaurant with delicious food. Our server James was excellent, both friendly and attentive. It may be a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special treat.

We tried the tasting menu at this restaurant and found it to be delicious and great value. Our favorite dishes were the scallop and chocolate cannonball. The view of the castle from the restaurant exceeded our expectations, as it was unobstructed and the last building before the esplanade. Our waiter, James, was knowledgeable and friendly, making it an excellent evening overall.

Great food, attentive and friendly staff. The Smoked trout starter was excellent, as was the Grilled lemon sole. The choice of wines was good,but fairly pricey.

We had a great, relaxed time celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food was very good and Imogen, our waitress for the evening was very friendly. Thank you!
