Wannaburger - Edinburgh, City of

I will keep this short and sweet rest, as it is the type of restaurant that they themselves have to try out! eating is very tasty and the juicy burgers are definitely in a whole league of their own. Typically, I tend to find burger, tend to be cheap and not as big as they should be, but wannaburger serve the best in the city! the friendly staff and the reasonable price-class make it a whole cheerful experience.

Brilliant burgers. Some seriously delicious burgers with so many options to personalise them. Quick and efficient service and a VERY REASONABLE price. Great Beer on tap... All in all a favourite place to eat in Edinburgh.

Today, I decided to try Wannaburger for a decent burger. The restaurant has more of an American style with a counter setup. The service was a bit cold, which I attributed to it being busy, but I believe being busy is not an excuse for lacking smiles or thank yous. The burger itself was average, nothing outstanding but got the job done. The bun was cold and plain, but the meat was tasty. I was glad I chose the speck as it added some flavor. Two positives were the delicious fries and the option for refillable drinks (including Irn Bru, which made this Scottish person very happy). Overall, it was a decent meal, but I wouldn't rush back for it.

I decided to try Wantburger on the west end for lunch today, as I had never been before. Unfortunately, the person at the counter did not even smile at me and seemed preoccupied with another employee. It was clear they were busy, but their lack of friendliness left me feeling unwelcome. When I ordered my meal, the worker started chatting with their colleague instead of focusing on my order. I even had to ask for a cup separately, despite ordering a full meal. As someone who has worked in hospitality, I am sensitive to poor service, and unfortunately, that was my experience here, even though it is not a table service restaurant.

Wantburger is a fantastic choice for a fast meal, whether you're looking for a quick lunch while shopping on nearby Princes Street or a budget-friendly dinner after a day of sightseeing. Regardless of the occasion, Wantburger offers a great value alternative to the popular burger chain nearby - and I know which one I prefer to go to.
