Field - Edinburgh

Since writing my first review 2 years ago, Field remains my favorite restaurant in Edinburgh. Never disappointed, whether lunch or dinner, the dishes are perfectly presented, with flavors that can all be accompanied by the different options on the excellent wine list. Always made to feel welcome, food on Field is the perfect place for an excellent family meal. After having brought family members several times over the years, I can say very much that this restaurant is a must when in Edinburgh.

Had the lunch and pre-theater menu. Absolutely incredible value for money. The dishes are tasteful and yet balanced. However, the place is on the smaller side. Very recommended!

Super delicious food and cozy choice for lunch. Good service. Near the university. A hidden gem in the old town of Edinburgh. Love it!

Small and intimate. Do not let yourself be deceived by the unpredictable and simple interior, the food is what is focussed here! You need to book in advance. We had a beautiful vegetarian cheddar and charcoal for starters, and braided Jacobs ladder and Guniea fowl for net. Deliciously presented by a beautiful sommelier. We were the only foreigner here and felt calm. Very recommended

Great food, very good prices for such quality. Would definitely go back again!
