Zizzi - Edinburgh Roxburgh Court

Since this restaurant was conveniently located near our apartment, we decided to give it a try. We had heard that it was part of a chain, so we were hopeful that the food would be good.

I can't believe this chain restaurant has a 4-star rating on Yelp. Olive Garden serves better Italian food and their meals include bread and salad!

After ascending the stairs, I needed a moment to catch my breath before being taken away again by the fantastic view of the Scott's monument and Princes Street.

We arrived just before 5pm on a weekday and there was many tables available so we got given a great seat next to the window with a nice view! The food was super yummy and filling after a day exploring Edinburgh. As the evening went on the service became a little slow although they were friendly! It was a nice dinner! And I would recommend!

The food was lovelybut the vegetables and the patotos were cold... As soon as they arrived.. Part from that 4... Out of 5...i shall be back‍
