Visited this restaurant again after a short period of dropping by at other places, you always come back to a place you feel at home. It was Valentine's Day so just to be ahead of the rush we were here around 4 and ordered a couple of dishes. It seemed that lunch time in fact was completely a sold out place, and also now it did not take to long or it was filling up. We ordered egg drop soup/west lake beef soup which was excellent, but here too I think it depends who prepares it because we had this soup here before which was a disaster and we had to send it back and had somebody else prepare it. Another dish we had was spicy pork chops which was excellent too and always a great dish, then we also had spicy fish, but with the sauce on the side so we could decide ourselves if we wanted it spicy or not, the sauce turned out not to spicy. As last on our order was rice and bbq pork chow mein, all in all great food, good portion and a succesfull diner.
I decided to give this restaurant a chance and ordered a few dishes. I requested extra sauces multiple times and the delivery driver arrived promptly. I paid and left a tip.
I absolutely adore the three varieties of mushrooms in the salted fish chicken fried rice at this restaurant! And don't miss out on their delicious green onion cakes - much tastier than any I've had before.
The owners of the restaurant are pleasant, but the food is terrible. It is extremely salty and almost inedible.
