Japanese Village - Edmonton

The chief is really entertaining doing those knife blade tricks its quite fun to watch. The shabu2 soup is like an egg drop soup but its to salty. Veggies are nicely cook same as my shrimp misonaise. This place is really busy and pack so its a good to do reservation before heading to eat.

Really enjoyed the whole experience here! The chef was very thorough in cooking our food to our liking and making sure everything was properly seasoned/sauced. Service was very attentive and luckily they weren't too busy. Large portions, I took home enough for almost a whole second meal. Delicious and can't wait to go back!

Such polite, friendly, and professional staff! They apologized for our reservation being late and provided our family with complimentary drinks. They saw my kids wanted to use the chopsticks and couldn't. Without us asking, they provided my kids with chopsticks with elastics, already assembled. They have a kids menu that includes ice cream. Food was delicious. Will go again.

Lunch with some entertainment. This was a team lunch and quite an enjoyable one. We had some of the meals cooked right there in front of us. The chef/waiter had a sense of humor and kept us entertained all through the meal preparation. Tasty meals, clean restaurant with a lovely ambience. I enjoyed the visit and would definitely consider another.

We came to the WEM location and enjoyed a really great experience. Told our server about celiac/gluten-free and they took it seriously, very knowledgeable and accommodated it without issue. Our wonderful chef even spoke with me before he began cooking which gave me added reassurance since we were at a table with others who were strangers (still had socially distance seating). The food was great and our chef was awesome! A really wonderful experience and it ended with being in a food coma! Will happily return to Japanese Village!
