It's only been open 3 days now so it's having a few issues. Staff that clearly don't know the menu. Our young shy server had no clue about anything although I don't fault her for her lack of knowledge. She should have consulted with the older staff on a few issues. My husband ordered the full Royal loaf, two loafs. He got a 1/2 loaf instead. My husband asked if he could get a side of meat sauce for dipping. When we asked the server if we could get some for a cost, she said NO and walked away. She could have asked someone if she was unsure. Very unprofessional. It states clearly on the menu that there are sides available. The more experienced staff were awesome. Our pizza order was somehow forgotten and they did give us a discount and an apology. I chalk this up to start up pains. The food was awesome. Just hoping this place can hold up to Royal Pizza's standards. We need this place in our area. Yes, I would recommend this place to others but give it some time so they can iron out the kinks. I certainly will be back in a few weeks to check out their progress. Happy over all.
So good!. I was in their St Albert location. This was the best pizza I have ever had. The thick (but surprisingly light) crispy crust was delicious. And the toppings went all the way to the edges; not a big edge of dry crust that you would get at The Parlor. The restaurant can be a little hard to spot at first but if you like a deep dish style of pizza this place delivers!
Awesome food with great staff. I will definitely be going back.
Not all Royal pizza's are great. This is one of them. Pizza had almost no sauce and quite weak on the toppings. The crust was thick on the outside but paper thin at the middle. Couldn't even finish or Enjoy it. The ham fries as a starter came burnt. When you allow teenagers to run your system at a restaurant rarely have i seen a good outcome. We won't be coming back to this one
