Tasca La Restingolita

We visited here twice and had an excellent meal both times. One of us ate fish, cooked to perfection and the other meat which was tender and tasty. The salad is delicious and the potatoes and fries excellent and generous. We also tried two tapas dishes, fried local cheese and squid skewers, both were great as was the mojo and the bread and the house wine. We found it good value and enjoyed sitting out under the arches with sea views. We feel this place deserves to be higher in the Tripadvisor ranking, maybe the short walk away from the other cluster of restaurants means it doesn't get so many reviews. Just stroll along the very pleasant promenade by the sea away from the harbour to the end of town, no more than 5 minutes and you will find it on the ground floor of the big yellow building. It is worth the tiny extra effort!

Varied fish menu and very good snack. we take a delicious black rice. totally recommended!

Friendly little restaurant. Impressing fish, better than el refugio. Also the steaks were great. Can definately recommend. Prices are very fair, service was also very comforting and friendly

He had garlic fried fish with Canarian potatoes whilst I had a plate of shrimps. Enjoyed both. Waiter was charming.

Hemos parado en La Restinga a comer. Buscábamos un restaurante que ofreciera pescado de la zona. Ha sido todo un acierto, nos han servido un alfonsiño a la espalda con papas arrugadas y mojo, que estaba buenísimo. De postre he tomado mousse de mango y me ha encantado. Relación calidad -precio correcta.
