Mcdonald's - Elgin

I came in the restaurant since the drive thru was busy and it was easy and fast but the only thing I disliked was they messed up my sugar free French vanilla iced coffe they gave me a regular iced coffe

Good McDonald’s. The food is almost fresh when you get your order but make sure you check your order in your bag. You might come out with another persons order.

Food is good and my order is always correct but during lunch or dinner rush you can expect to wait 20+ mins in the drive thru

This is our closest McDonalds. 2 minutes from our house. EVERYTIME we go there to grab dinner it is an absolute mess. They get our order wrong ALWAYS. The wait is unbelievable, we have to plan an hour of our evening because we know it’s going to take that long to order, wait, and have them correct the food multiple times. The staff are rude. You’ll be standing at the counter for long periods of time and they won’t come to help you. I have not seen one employee smile or say something friendly there. We were so excited when we moved to the area because we saw that this was a ‘Bear Family McDonalds’ their restaurant in South Elgin is the best. But it’s very clear they don’t put the same time or effort into the location on this side of town. PS they tell you to reach out with the feedback form on the website, but I did that months ago, no one ever reached out.

Was at line for 15 minutes so they can take my order, They were only taking orders from the other side didn't care about other side that's messed up. Plus to get my 2 drinks another 10 minutes. Almost 30 minutes unbelievable. They need to work on that ..
