Volcano - Elizabeth City

We did takeout wanting a special meal we went to Volcano. We have eaten there several times with great food not this time. I got Hibachi Chicken the chicken was really dried out and the rice lacking flavor of any kind. No onions at all. I really couldn't make myself eat it after a few bites. I’m sorry but Giving this takeout 2 stars is extremely generous from what I’d rate a 4 star restaurant.

The restaurant is filthy. Cob webs on the overhead lamps. The curtain entering the dining area is black from filth. Gross. All of our food tasted like dirty dish water. We could not eat it and we will never go back.

We go about every 2-3 months with friends or family. We love the food and the atmosphere.

Always enjoy the atmosphere and the staff. Not talkative but very patient and helpful
