Big Bob's Original Philly Cheesesteaks

Excellent cheesesteaks. Ordered the loaded cheesesteak twice! First time I was unable to eat right away and had it cold--was still delicious. The second time ate right away and it was great. Loaded really was loaded, filled me up halfway through! Definitely a hidden gem and will definitely be giving them more business!

The food is okay. Nothing spectacular. Since they have Philly cheese steak in their restaurant's name, I ordered the cheese steak with cheese whiz and onions. Kind of bland, and ended up putting ketchup on it... Says a lot when I need to add ketchup to a cheese steak. Tried their beer battered onion rings, fries, jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks. All are meh. I would actually skip the jalapeno poppers, not the best and I'm sure that is what tanked my stomach.

I had their Big Bobs Sloppy Joe and it was flat out delicious. The sandwich was stacked so high I couldn?t get a full bite. The meat was delicious and the coleslaw was fantastic. I was legitimately very surprised this came from a ?Cheesesteak? joint. Frankly, I think this sandwich should be their namesake as I thinks it?s the best thing on their menu.

I asked for no onion on my cheesesteak and the first bite I took was onion. That is all I could taste. I?m not allergic or anything but do not like onions and to have that as my first bite just made it unappetizing. I gave 2 stars because my husband loved the Cuban sandwich he ordered.

Loaded BLT was far from loaded. Its a big sub roll with barely any food inside. Chicken sandwich was not cooked fully so it wasnt edible. When I called the restaurant to express my concerns they argued with me that the food had no issues before it left the store and could be doordashes fault. we told them the bag was stapled but still they went on and on instead of just replacing our food. Finally after a long discussion they replaced the chicken sandwich and the owner made the BLT with one extra slice of bacon. putting a BLT on a huge sub roll makes no sense because the customer is eating big chunks of just bread.
