Oyster - Ennis

Eight of us went to this restaurant and everyone was extremely happy with their dinner. They quickly set up an additional room to accommodate our group. We ordered the chicken burger and the beef burger, both of which were incredibly tasty. Each burger was served with a generous serving of fries and large onion rings. The sauces that accompanied the burgers were delightful. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a lovely evening meal in the Oyster restaurant.. Although the menu was not extensive we opted for the steak and salmon respectively. Both were served piping hot and cooked to perfection . We had a cosy little table in the corner with dimmed lights and a table candle. All that was missing was the guys with the violins serenading us. The delightful waitress Edna made the evening complete. Very enjoyable.

Really disappointed overall with this hotel and restaurant. I chose it based on the good reviews and choice of bar food and restaurant food. Spacious venue. Booked a table for dinner but the staff member who 'greeted ' us was so rude and unwelcoming, we decided to leave.

From the table layout, to the end of the service all first class. A very good selection, will cater for every taste. Good wine list.

We are a group of five senior citizens travelling a long way from Hong Kong to join Cosmos grand tour of Great Britain. This is our seventh day on the road and we are now in Ennis, IRELAND. We just have a wonderful dinner at the Oyster Restaurant inside the Auburn Lodge Hotel and our ratings are as follows (from 1 to 10, 10 being the highest): Taste 9 Presentation 9 Value for money 8.5 Atmosphere 8.5 Service 9 Our compliments to chef Yong Gui for his superb skills in handling delicate sea food (the Monkfish was done to perfection). Thanks also to waiter Lucio Filipe who recommended the Monkfish, and also to his impeccible services. Regretfully we can only stay one day but we would highly recommend to all those who will visit Ennis in future.
