We ordered three appetizers Grilled Calamari, Bolinhos e bacalhau, Portuguese clams. The sauce of the clams was out of this world! We mopped them out with soft bread! The combination of clam and pork sausage was perfect! The grilled calamari paired well with peppers and tomatoes. The cod cakes were melt in your mouth soft. For main, we ordered Feijoada de Mariscos, Bacalhau a Lagareiro, and Chanfana Cabrito (Braised Goat). The meal was served with salads and rice. We ate everything with gusto and with delightful satisfaction! Great food and exceptional service this restaurant is a gem!
Overall food was delicious! The seafood was delicious and fresh. The sangria was good but tasted water down.
This is a restaurant my friend frequents. Yesterday he invited me to visit. It was cold out so there was no outdoor dining. There was a big party when we went inside so we were directed to the bar area. We had a very quiet spot. The waiter was very attentive but not in any way rushing us. I order unsweetened ice tea which for me is a test as to what will come. The tea was really tasty and fresh. They bring out fresh bread with amazing olives. We ordered baked clams and mussels. The clams were good and mussels were as well. They serve delicious bread so soaking up the juices was really enjoyable. They served a modest salad with home made dressing. Really good! Then I had rack of lamb with potatoes, my friends lobster and stuffed fish. They were beautifully presented.. My lamb was cooked to perfection. It was a lot of food. Dessert was really good. The menu had a lot of good choices. Hard to only pick one. I had the Flan and my Friend the apple dish. The Flan was really tasty and the apple was really good served with ice cream and whipped cream. To die for literally. When we got there it was boarder line lunch menu and dinner. They allowed us to stay with the lunch menu which saved a lot of money. We had a really good time. Want to come back when the outdoor patio is open. Two weeks later we returned. The meal was amazing and the service as good as ever. Posting new pictures.
Food was delicious!!! Our server was also very kind. I got the seafood combo in the green sauce, it was phenomenal. Highly recommend!
I've visited Lisbon Café twice and had two different experiences. The first time I went to Lisbon Café for dinner, my family and I had a great time. It wasn't packed and the staff was helpful. We ordered a pitcher of white wine sangria and when we mentioned that it wasn't strong enough, they added more white wine to the mix at no extra cost. We ordered the hot antipasto, paella, branzino, and Portuguese pork sausage. All of the seafood were fresh and delicious. The sausage was alright; although it looked cool to be torched, it was actually overcooked and didn't taste that good. My first experience was so great that I decided to bring my family back again for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, because it is Mother's Day, the restaurant was insanely busy and the staff could not keep up with all the tables. We were seated right away with our reservations but we were probably there for 3 hours. The food took forever to come out and it wasn't the same quality as the first time either. The paella looked undercooked and the rice was soaked in oil. The fried calamari was not crispy; the batter was soggy. The octopus was actually tender but I felt like it could've been more charred. The Hot Antipasto flavors were pretty much consistent as the last time. I would still rate Lisbon Café a 4/5. I understood that because it was a holiday, the restaurant was going to be busy, but I wished they were able to manage everything better.
