Tasquinha do Joy - Ericeira

Friendly staff, sitting outside, small esplanade, but nice. order fried oktopus and it was great. restaurante was very busy, but the service was good.

Beautiful eating, we have enjoyed polvo na telha especially a little surprised at some reviews here in ta, but they seem to have changed something like that most of 3 4 years ago since then. they want to come back if possible

Tasquinha do Joy sit next door to its sister place Cafe Joy and very near Casa da Fernanda famous sweets from Ericeira) above fisherman's beach with great view. I like its laid back atmosphere and the family that run it are all very friendly...and helpful. It is very popular with the locals and given the prices it is easy to see why. The food is pretty much standard Portuguese fair but well cooked and plentiful. I recommend the octopus on the tile polvo na telha If you are lucky enough , you can get a table on the terrace and you can enjoy the sea view. In Summer it is imperative to go early or making a reservation.

This place is fantastic. In fact, the food is so good I went there back to back days. I especially like the clams and the mussels. Best of all are the prices and portions. I have eaten at numerous places in Ericeira and this is...my favorite place.
