Ive come through and edited my rating after a while because hours seem more consistent than in the past and more clear online etc, foods always been banging just used to get frustrated that it always felt like they were closed whenever I called and the hours stated otherwise.
I went in in November with the Kiwanis club card and two younger girls were working who didn’t apparently know what they were doing. The cards should give you buy one get one free they only took off $15 instead of 30 and shorted my husband half of his meal when I called attention to it they were supposed to bring up the rest of his meal which they did not and they told me I’d have to call and speak to a manager to get the bill corrected. When I left there I immediately wrote them on their Facebook messenger. They said someone would call me no one did so several days later I called I spoke to a nice manager name Sarah who said she would credit my $15 and a half a pound of scampi and my hush puppies I was missing next visit… I just returned, asked to use it, and then they informed me that because I wasn’t there within 30 days I could not that to me is unacceptable and very bad business and it’s a shame because I like to support local, but I’m not interested in being ripped off
I've only eaten there once and the food, atmosphere, staff and service were all fantastic! However, their hours are either incorrect on their Facebook and on the outside of their building, or they just close randomly. I've attempted to go there 5 times now. The first time we just went in on a random day right when they opened. 3 other times an hour after opening, once 2 hours before closing. Always closed for seemingly no reason. It's so frustrating and I just don't get it. Either fix your misleading hours or leave a sign saying why you're closed!
I did not have a good experience with Chippers. I've tried to order their vegan fried chicken MULTIPLE TIMES and every single time they either don't have it or they give me fried green tomatoes instead, possibly thinking I don't know the difference. I even had someone call to make sure they had the vegan fried chicken today and the person said yes after checking with another worker. Somehow I still didn't get my vegan fried chicken because supposedly they didn't have it even though they told the person that called that they do. Why even have it on the menu? I gave my mom the incorrect food and she enjoyed it, but I'm very unhappy.Vegetarian options: They never have the vegan fried chicken
