The Royal Mile In Des Mo - Des Moines

The Iowan (pork tenderloin sandwich) was excellent. The beer was local and good. Service was fine. Very cool place.

Very cozy, classy English pub. To be fair we only had fries and curry but there many other things on the menu that good great. We will be back to try them. Drinks were brought out quick and correct. Staff checked on us frequently to see if we needed anything at all. Definitely a winner in our book.

Ordered take out, was greeted pretty quickly when coming in. Food was ready when they said it would be. Ordered fish and chips and chicken and chips. Never been here before and might not come back. Nothing had any seasoning-not even salt on the chips! Very boring meals. The fish was a good portion and the tartar sauce was good enough. Not worth the price I'm afraid.

Def has the pub feel... drinks and food in tje best atmosphere in downtown Des Moines

I’ve been to Des Moines twice and had to get to Royal Mile both times. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is excellent, and it has one of the best whiskey selections I’ve ever seen. If you love scotch, it’s the place to go. The Guinness Stew is fantastic. Next time I’m in town, I’m there.
