The main view is inconvenient and we almost made it, but it became late. After the prices it was nothing special. Inside it was a typical inn, clean, bright, beautifully furnished, but with consideration. The waitress was friendly and very helpful. The people at the adjacent table shaved around their dishes. My wife ordered the smoked FRESH trout. Neither of us had heard what meant that one of us had to try. I had the pork steak with mushrooms. We also tried the house Sylvaner and Traminer wines. At first there was a normal looking fresh salad. I rarely ran over salads, but that was one of the best I had. The smoked trout was absolutely excellent. We're trout lovers, but none of us had a better one than that. We're both smoke lovers now. It is worth the 20-25 minutes preparation time. My meal was good, but not great. The meat was less delicate than I had hoped, but the surface was susceptible and perfected. The Pommes Frites were made with freshly cut potatoes and were a rare treat in this age of fast food. The service was friendly and very helpful. The entire meal, 2 wines and a bottle of water came to less than 34 euros. I call that a bargain. We have already recommended the restaurant to several friends. If you want a really good view, stop at Vogelsburg. If you want a really good meal, go to the foot of the hill and eat in the main view where the view is not almost as good.
They were six and had to wait long for the service, although the guest room was almost empty. Guests who came after us were served first, although the waiter knew we were more there! As I get out of the gastro, it's not a plus! The food remains to be desired. The ordered medium Rare Rumpsteak was still **** inside and the pepper sauce missed in the card! I do not want to continue with the following declaration of services, because unfortunately this was not a sign of special competence! Shame!
Schöne Auswahl an hauseigenen Weinen.
