Cafe Alentejo - Évora

Highly recommend after an amazing visit with the kindest, warmest restaurant owners. Gorgeous food, great spot to access and do much warmth and laughter all around.

There were some years that I wasn’t going to this lovely restaurant. The food is still very good and very authentic, regional food, at a good price. The wine list is also amazing.

We had a lovely time at this restaurant and the food as decent. However very disappointed that they charged me 3€ more for the dish than what it was advertised for on either the English or Portuguese version of the menu. I guess just another way to make some money!

This was a lovely historic tavern with excellent food and good service. I tried the pork cheeks and the sauteed asparagus. It was a big meal for me but delicious!

Didn’t need a reservation which was good as we arrived late. Nice ambiance and music not too loud. Pork cheeks were good but the oven backed cod on over cooked spinach should be skipped. House white wine not great ask for something else or drink it quickly cold. Service was average.
