Went in for breakfast with parents absolutely disgusting the only thing eatable was the bacon the rest was either cremated or overcooked left a bad aftertaste also ordered a milkshake tasted like the milk was out of date and the only thing really that was pleasant was the female worker very polite but a bad experience will not be going back there

Great old style cafe. Great value and excellent food. Not sure how they make any money for what they give you. Service was first class.

I stumbled upon this restaurant on a busy Saturday lunchtime. While the upstairs section seemed cluttered with furniture, we found a clean table downstairs and were greeted by a friendly waiter. We were disappointed to find that the lasagne was sold out, but we opted for the roast of the day from the specials board instead. The service was a bit slow due to the busyness of the restaurant, but we appreciated being informed of the delay. Our teas arrived promptly and were served in large mugs. The roast dinner was delicious, with generous portions of beef, roast potatoes, and vegetables. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and would definitely return in the future.

Awful went into the cafe Saturday the 3rd because a train wasn't due for 40 minutes at Exeter StThomas the cafe is across the road ordered a lamb roast with a can special offer £7.50 absolute shocker went to use the toilet upstairs a man cooking food in the kitchen next to the toilet then coming downstairs to use the microwave next to the till

Delicious bacon sandwich with Daddies sauce Excellent value and service well done hopefully be back next week
