Red Lantern Steak Spirits - Fairbanks

I ordered a large Caesar salad without any protein. My family really enjoys this restaurant, and the seating was quite comfortable. The service was great, the place wasn't busy, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. However, I was surprised to find that they didn't serve breakfast at 12:30 on Sunday, which I couldn't determine from the menu.

We had lunch several times and dinner once at the Red Lantern during our stay in the West. Our favorites included the ribeye, prime rib sandwich, captivating burger, and the dinner salads. The bartender and server were both friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was eager to try the Pure Burger. I had never had pure meat before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was quite an intriguing experience. I wouldn't describe it as bad or particularly outstanding, just very unique—almost playful in its flavors. I think I would recommend pairing it with chutney, as the sweetness complements the meat nicely. Overall, the taste was excellent! The fries were absolutely fantastic, too. The quality of the burger was also top-notch. All in all, I really enjoyed my meal!

Overall, it was a fairly good experience. The menu offered a decent variety, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was very friendly. The crab mac and cheese had a little too much breadcrumbs on top for my liking, but it was still enjoyable. While the stones weren't my favorite, they were quite tasty nonetheless. The prices were quite reasonable compared to typical restaurant costs in Alaska. I would definitely recommend this place as a dinner stop for anyone visiting Fairbanks, AK.

The rock fish was excellent, but the prime rib was quite tough and not enjoyable. Service was slow on a busy evening. While it is pricey, it is convenient since there aren’t many nice restaurants in the area.
