Rogue Wave Brewery

I visited this restaurant for a tasting drink early on a weekday evening and noticed it was not very crowded. I ordered a tasting board with six beers and a schooner of lager. Since I couldn't take everything outside to where my wife was sitting, the waitress at the bar mentioned that I could come back to pick it up. She didn’t offer to bring it to our table, even though there were no other customers at the bar. The service could have been better, especially considering it cost $27 for the experience. However, the view from outside was lovely.

This establishment is more than just a craft beer bar; it’s an actual brewery, which I genuinely appreciate. It’s not surprising, given that the Great Ocean Road attracts thousands of tourists and is a popular spot for young people. The pub features a lovely outdoor area and has very friendly staff. Most importantly, they offer an excellent selection of beers on tap. Overall, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a beer!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Aireys. They were preparing to update their menu, so they graciously allowed us to sample several dishes. One standout was a Tandoori chicken dish, and there was also a cheesy naan dish, as well as a duck and port pâté. Each dish was excellent. I also tried their locally brewed Salt Lager, which was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place—it's a charming old pub!

The food was solid if unremarkable. Burger was dry and whiting was caked in batter. Service was friendly and prompt.

Lovely place! I had the porterhouse steak and the Cranky Missus double IPA! It was one of the best beers I've had! : Atmosphere was chaotic and filled with people and kids. But I had a great time and I would definitely return here!
