Red Lion - Fareham

One of my granddaughters absolutely loved the ultimate burger, going as far as to say it was the best she had ever tasted. She found the combination of flavors to be unique and truly breathtaking. The other granddaughter enjoyed her burger as well, but wasn't quite as impressed with the chocolate brownie. The hotel itself was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We would definitely be happy to stay there again.

This is one of my favorite restaurants to dine at, and I have brought friends and family who have all loved it. The atmosphere is charming, the staff are very friendly, and they offer great value meal deals. The food is consistently excellent, and I would highly recommend this place.

After having a great time at the Red Lion before Christmas, we decided to return to try their Sunday Roast. We were lucky to have booked an early evening table as we were told that there was limited roast beef available. The beef and Turkey were both delicious, the roast potatoes were crispy, and the Yorkshire pudding was just right. Most of the vegetables were cooked well, though the broccoli stems were a bit tough. The portions were generous, but we still managed to make room for the apple and blackberry crumble pie with custard, which was delightful. The service was top-notch, and overall we had another fantastic experience. I would recommend ordering more roast beef for Sundays as it was so tasty, and it would be a shame for later customers to miss out.

Always a good night, but tonight we were served by Ella. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. When I spoke to the manager, it is only her second week She shows an attitude and level of customer care of someone with a lot more experience Thank you...for great service

My partner and I had a wonderful Sunday lunch at the Red Lion and had a lovely experience. We were warmly welcomed by a lovely woman called Rotheio and sat at a nice lage table for two. We ordered our drinks (perfectly poured Guinness and...a Coke) and we both ordered a Trio of Roast meats with additional Pigs in blankets. A young girl called Millie brought us our food and asked if we needed anything else. I had some additional gravy and mint sauce. The meat was beautifuly tenter, Yorkshire pudding crisp and the veg was cooked perfectly. We were in abit rush by the time we had finished the meal so requested the bill. Rotheio helped us and we left with full bellies and big smiles. Wonderful food. Wonderful staff. Highly recommended.
