Sagrada Família - Ourém

My recent visit to this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. While there were some highlights, the overall experience was not quite what I had expected. The staff was courteous, attentive, and efficient. They made us feel welcome and were quick to address any requests or concerns. Unfortunately, the food was the weakest aspect of our experience. While the menu had an appealing variety of dishes, the execution fell short of expectations.

Went here with my family of 6 and we ordered the Menu. The food was excellent and the service prompt and polite. Highly recommended!

The name says it all : the sacred family and that it is. The place is owned by mother and daughter. It is an amazing place as it combines a nice family atmosphere (even if you don't really talk Portuguese with a warm welcome and (let's speak seriously with really homemade food that is excellent and well served. In addition prices are rather cheap especially if you take the special offer menu meal (10€ all inclusive : bread, drink, soup, main course, dessert, etc. . And IMPORTANT TO NOTE it is open during the afternoon when everything else is closed and you really need a rest, a drink and maybe something to eat. Edite and her daughter Sandra (she speaks English if you need would even (we tested it serve you the special offer meal out of normal meal time. The place can receive quite a number of guest and it is not very close to the sanctuary (2 streets to cross . Frankly, if you like normal people serving good homemade food, this is the place to go. The respect your discretion. Don't hesitate to call and they'll be there. This is a real change from all other standard places where you are just another number. ENJOY !!!
