Super nice staff. Delicious beers. Big delicious food portions. The restaurant was clean and had some nice German decorations. The jagerschnitzel was really good with the noodles. The noodles were there bomb. Highly recommended. The wife and I split a mean for lunch with beer and it was plenty.
Das Bavarian Haus is an authentic German restaurant. The food is rich and tasty. The options aren't super complicated and the menu can be quickly scanned, but everything is really well made. We tried a few of the schnitzels and they were all crispy and not greasy at all. The kid's menu is an exercise in bland American food. Kind of a shame there are no options that even attempt to be authentic.
The service is very friendly and they wear the cute traditional German dress. The wine is good and the food is good. The decor is bright and nice. The space is very good for anyone in a wheelchair. It's child friendly. The bathroom was very clean. They do group events and they have specials. My only complaint is the service is a bit slow. I had to always wave them down for more water. Considering I was the only person in the place for a good 20 minutes before anyone else walked in... But I do recommend this place for a quick bite or better yet something to go.
Nice enough but it’s a local mom and pop feeling restaurant with a tinge of ancestral decay. The place feels old and a bit modestly decorated. I would’ve appreciated more atmosphere and for the dish I was given to have better presentation. The food itself was fair but nothing to right home about. I’d say it’s definitely a place where you can feel relaxed and have a decent warm meal. If you want to experience something rich this may not be the perfect place for it
