Visited as a couple with a reservation on Mother's Day at 6 pm. Busy, but we were seated immediately. Drink orders were taken delivered very quickly. App entrees took a bit longer. Had the variety tray app, garlic naan, lamb rogan josh, lamb bhuna, gulab jamun, and mango cheesecake. All were very good, but both entrees (ordered medium+ level) lacked heat. Check came in less than 5 minutes. All in all, a decent visit, but I'd like to return on a non-holiday to compare.
Mixed biryani hot spice level was soo good ! Thankful to have come here .
I was with a gentleman from Birmingham,England. He has lived in the states for over 20 years. He LOVES Indian food. This was the best he has had his entire stay here. Weird we found it in Ocala but it is the truth. Joe is a great waiter, all of it was delicious. We will return, often. 2 1/2 hour drive worth it.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was an enjoyable experience overall. The ambiance was inviting from the moment we walked in, and the seating areas were impeccably clean. The staff and servers were polite and displayed a high level of professionalism, adding to the positive atmosphere. Now, let 's talk about the food. The quality and presentation were both top-notch, impressing everyone at our table. However, there 's a caveat for those who enjoy spicy cuisine, particularly individuals from the Indian subcontinent. Despite ordering dishes at the hot spice level, they fell short of our expectations regarding heat. Eight of us shared this sentiment, hailing from Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh.Additionally, while the korma leaned towards the sweeter side and lacked salt for our taste, other items like the biryani were delicious, hitting the mark in flavor. On a side note, the cutlery situation is worth mentioning. The owner should consider investing in new plates, as the ones we were served on had rough corners and numerous scratches. The condition of the dessert plate Kulfi picture uploaded, raised concerns about the overall hygiene standards in the kitchen. While it didn 't detract significantly from our dining experience, it 's certainly an area that could use improvement.Despite these minor hiccups, I must admit I 'm about 80% satisfied and pleased with our visit. The standout desserts, kulfi, and gulab jamun, were truly the stars of the night, leaving a lasting impression. I 'll definitely be returning with my family in the future, hopeful for an even better experience.
