There can be quite the queue here at lunch time. I am a diehard Marrickville Pork Roll fan, and unfortunately these guys just can't hold a candle, however they are the best banh mi I've had in the Flodge/Annandale area.
Crackling Pork or Lemongrass Banh Mi ohhhh the best in Sydney hands down. Top it up with a fruit juice. Good decent size roll too, 1 is enuf to get me full when compare to others I have to order 2 (Mascot, Marrickville etc etc.
Never tried any of the goods from the bakery, but I have been surprised by their range of Vietnamese food. I’ve tried their chicken and beef pho (not in pics), their wonton soup, rice paper rolls, and a few rolls (crackling pork and tofu). Their pho and wonton soups are okay, not the best I’ve had but still enjoyable (they seem to use the same broth for both the beef and chicken pho, which surprised me). Their rice paper rolls are also quite good. But the main thing I would recommend is their rolls: they are really tasty, and packed with veggies and meat!
The Food is Great! The trouble however is to get your order right, if you're ordering more than 2 rolls (for the office). What I found working is to come in with a printed list. Other than that the rolls are great especially the Lemongrass roll. We usually get it without the tomato as it's not a common thing to have in a roll. Also the que for this place talks for itself.
Very friendly staff, and big pork rolls with very fresh ingredients. The photo is of a lemon grass chicken roll. The pho they have on the menu is fantastic
