It was strong, it had good flavour and and good amount of froth, yummmm haha ... what a perfect start to the day! <br/ <br/ I was so impressed that I went back for another coffee, this time a piccolo latte which was served by another barista and it wasn't quite as good, it just tasted a bit watery, otherwise I would have given this place a 5/5. <br/ <br/ The food looked great, lots of excellent organic food for breakfast and lunch but I had my eye on something else for an early brunch in my next review. <br/ <br/ And the previous review by Z is correct. There is no seating as this is a true hole in the wall, but one defintely worth visiting in my opinion :
Hole in the wall coffee food spot opposite the busy section of Elizabeth Street opposite Central Station; I have been meaning to sample their wares for some time so was delighted to finally try out one of the attractive-looking sandwiches on display in the small counter.<br <br I plumped for a Chicken Roll which consisted of roasted chicken served in a mixture of mayonnaise, chives and gruyere cheese on a white bun. At $10 it is definitely at the top end of the sandwich market price-wise but I have to say it was worth every cent. The bread was soft, fluffy and dusted with flour and the chicken mixture was creamy without being too rich and allowed the nutty gruyere flavour to come through.<br <br TSP also serve a selection of salads that changes by the day and have a good beverage list although I didn’t try on this occasion.
Man I have been waiting for Zomato to add the TSP so I can gush over everything. Super friendly with an awesome range of food. Aside from great coffee by 5 Senses they make their own kombucha (the beetroot and dill is AHHHHMAZE), do a cold brew with nitrogen, smoothies with cricket (yes real crickets) flour, and other options like whey powder and charcoal. This hole in the wall is kind of scandi in decor with a vertical succulent garden that frames the window. The Buddha bowl is one of the best things you can eat for breakfast. The soba noodle salad is simple yet so delicious with a perfect soft boiled egg on top. The salad du jour is cauliflower, nuts and grapes, NOM NOM. The dirty croque is a croque Monsieur with ndjura which is a spicy pork salami instead of ham. Tasty AF.
I had a hot chocolate here. The taste was so special, so different from other hot chocolate I had before. I love it so much. Recommended.
Very smooth coffee from Two Skinny Pickles this morning! Love the quality service and the cute look of this hole in the wall. <br/ <br/ Plenty of options for food, especially those with food intolerances which is always a plus! Coffee was served with a smile and very creamy, however, I tend to like my coffee with more of a kick!
