Don’t go there. They are tourist trap. You have paid 2.80 euro per person as service cost and at final bill they count 10% above the total amount!!!!

This nice looking little restaurant on a small side street in Florence LOOKS like one of the local, family operations that we like to patronize when traveling. But looks here are deceiving! Even the most modest meal (the food isn 't bad and the menu prices are standard) here will cost you plenty. They have an automatic cover charge of 5 euros just to seat you, then they tack on a (very hefty for Italy) automatic 15% Tip. Tips are not customary in Italy and are usually 10% at best if the service is just awesome. The service was not awesome-it was just adequate. The staff were all quite solemn really, I guess it wears on the soul ripping off unsuspecting visitors all day. There was absolutely no signage or mentions of these policies anywhere one would notice. I encountered this type of dishonest profiteering no where else in Italy or Spain though we ate in many similar establishments. Just stay away from this joint!

Excellent service, food and atmosphere! Hidden gem with gourmet food. Pomegranate, Pear and Chestnut salad was an unexpected surprise. Preparations and presentations were of the highest caliber. Quite upscale atmosphere.

Way to salty! As a result, we could not eat the florentene steak or pizza. Explained the problem to the server,but did not recieve an offer to replace the meal or compensate. This is totally unacceptable. As a long time hotelier, I was shocked by this shortsighted approach to hospitality. Very dissapounting.

Delicious Florentine steaks, sold by weight. Ordered medium, received rare. We made the touristy mistake of trusting the server to recommend how much steak to get for 5 people. The bill was HUGE. Much of the weight we bought was bone, fat and gristle and we carried out enough steak for another 3 people. Very tasty though. Zero atmosphere.
