A surprisingly large venue consisting of indoor and outdoor areas as well as a bar with a large variety of beer on tap.

It's hard to compete with the likes of Hawker Hall and Chin Chin but this place has it going on!! We were promptly seated at 7pm on a weekend and what

I am not sure where the crazy name comes from, as this is a stylish restaurant without a hint of hawker centre (which was fine by me).

Celebrating my daughters 23rd birthday, who had been here before and convinced us to attend. We were not disappointed. The food is a combination of inventive fusion Japanese with all the traditional dishes. Lamb chops and soft shell crab are a standout, and the combination sushi/sashimi plater was excellent, and at $75 was plenty for the 5 of us combined with other dishes.While not extensive the wine list was ample with good choices at all levels. However if you are into Saki, the selection was more extensive and worth giving it a try. The cocktails are excellent and most with a Japanese influence.It is in a very 'trendy" building and it was a bit loud at times and a bit hard to hear conversation.Food is served generally at once and quick so if you want to pace yourself only order a few dishes and when you are ready order more as they come pretty quickly.

Visited with my partner who eats meat and i don't. We ordered 2 veggie dishes, 2 meat and dumplings to share. The girl serving talked a lot but did explain the food might come out at separate times- fine we thought a few minutes is ok! My miso soup came out straight away, my other dish 10 minutes later, was at least another 25 before we saw the first meat dish (just pork buns) and still another 10 for the other! So in total 45 minutes to get the last of 4 dishes. Dumplings were forgotten! The tofu dish I had was pretty poor too
