Caffe La Feltrinelli - Florence

Great spot for a quick coffee before getting on your train. They have soy milk (and almond? for lattes and there were a handful of vegan sweets when I was there this morning. The mini carrot cake was delish!

Since I find it quite difficult to find vegan options in Café/Bäckereien in Italy, I was glad to find one here at the station so I could get something on the way. I am very happy with five vegan options from pastries.

While waiting for the train, I had a cappuccino and the mini carrot cake that were both good. I also have the Flafel sandwich for taking away: very nice! I would add a little more green leaves or other fresh vegetables (depending on season) to balance the flavors. Nice staff and beautiful place!

Here you can find some decent vegan options like felafel panini and pucvia vegetariana (made with torta di ceci chickpeas flour sort of focaccia), plus vegan croissants and carrot minicakes. And you can find good books too!

In the station. The staff was great to check the allergen book before my order, very courteous. I have a delicious Falafel sandwich and my partner got a carrot cake and a coffee each.
