Really good burger. We came here with a groupon, so it was a good deal. However, o didn't realize they allowed smoking inside and that is why I'm taking away the two stars. I liked the food and Misty took excellent care of us, but the smoke was overwhelming for me
Umm, err, Muggbees. They have pretty decent bar food and I've been there more than once but other than that I can't think of anything nice to say. So let's move on to the negatives: I had a bartender who was purposely ignoring his customers and when he did wait on us he made it clear we were disturbing him. I once saw a heavily intoxicated chick climb onto the bar and do some pretty un-ladylike things that have permanently scarred me. This was on a weeknight at 8 pm. On the weekends, Muggbees turns into a hillbilly discotheque. Music inexplicably varies from Toby Keith to 50 Cent. And you will see 40-year-olds rocking the Electric Slide. If you're looking for a fight, this is the place to be. Luckily, the cops quickly show up, since they're waiting across the street in the gas station parking lot. I wouldn't normally review a place like Muggbees, but I've known too many unknowing folks who have made the mistake of going here for a burger only to discover they've walked into a pre- Patrick Swayze Roadhouse.
Food has been awful. Staff great, atmosphere great, food bad. The food used to be good. Eat before you come, or come buzzed.
Me and my sons come here usually a couple times a week to have a couple beers and play pool. The beer is inexpensive and the food is pretty good! They have a wing special on Monday night and often have some sort of beer special going. The place is under new ownership, so I'm hoping it gets even better. Misty, one of the bartenders, is nice and usually remembers what you ordered before, making you feel like a regular. Overall a pretty neat place to hang out, listen to the juke box, and have a few beers.
