Lai Restaurant - Florenceville-Bristol

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The only thing nice about this place was the building and the nice lady serving the food. When we complained to the owner, he was very rude and he would not discount our meals. 2 out of the 6 of us ran to the bathroom after eating our meals. I strongly suggest going elsewhere for a meal. We should have known better, as all the other restaurants in town were full and this one was empty! Egh....

Like chicken chow mien. Find chicken balls have to much batter. Newly renovated building. Good location.

I ordered dinner for three from an online menu, which cost almost $50. The menu said it came with won ton soup, so I called to complain because my kids were looking forward to that soup, which is their favorite part. I was told that they had changed their menu and to come back in to get a more updated one. After being placed on hold, the person I spoke with seemed confused as to why I had called. I explained the situation again, and she told me I could come get their new menu, even though they had already given me one. Feeling frustrated and getting nowhere, I politely ended the conversation. Unfortunately, we didn't get any soup, so I tried to get the kids excited about the chicken balls, but they were rubbery and had a strange yellow color. I would not recommend this place at all. It was a disappointing experience.

This restaurant offers a buffet with a variety of traditional 'Canadian Chinese' dishes, all with fresh vegetables and unique flavors. The service is consistently friendly. Don't forget to grab the chopsticks, Chinese tea, and fortune cookie. If you choose to order from the menu, the portions are generous and there is always plenty to take home. The homemade eggrolls are especially delicious.
