I stumbled upon this place while stopping for gas. The staff was amazingly kind and friendly. I got the taco plate, with one fish (mahi) and one shrimp. Overall, it was not bad. Could have been a little more flavorful. My husband and son had burgers, which they said were good. The beans and rice were tasty. They also have salsas and desserts for sale. I would go back and try something new.
Expensive but oh so good. You can definitely tell they take pride in the food they cook. The wraps are a good portion size so they're very filling and they do a good job making them look super neat, perfect for pictures. My family and I will definitely be eating from here again.
Chef Joe has put together an AMAZING menu and takes so much pride in what he serves. I had never expected to find one of my favorite places to eat in a gas station. On my must have list for keys eats. Help this friendly family succeed and you won't be disappointed!
Chef Joe 's is the absolute best spot in Key Largo! Big menu, little prices, full stomach every time! Creative names add to the 'vibe ' of the keys. He 's my go-to for breakfast but I 've never been disappointed for lunch. He 's by the triangle visitor center in the red truck. If you don 't go, you 're seriously missing out!
