Edit: went back to chimi's after they were open from the flood. Service was very good, as usual. Our server made sure to let us know that a large party was in the back, so he hurried us up a bit to ensure we didn't get delayed. Very helpful. Food was as good as it was before the food. Very good. We also had a good sized group of 9. No hiccups, no problems.

The salsa was very good. Me and my sister ordered the mix fajita. She choked on the steak it was so hard and tough. The waiter didn’t care. They give you enough lettuce, pico, rice and sour cream for one taco. The fried ice cream was very good as well. I would rate it a 6.5/10.

I judge mexican restaurants strictly on their salsa. They have a hot or salsa that you have to ask for. I like to mix it into the roja. It also allows you to pick how spicy you want it
