I pre-ordered a cake for a 50th birthday and provided specific instructions. Unfortunately, the bakery failed to follow these instructions. The cake had poor handwriting and was written in the wrong color. The word "Birthday" was not even spelled correctly, which was disappointing. Additionally, when I went to pick up my order, the worker did not greet me, say a single word, and seemed to dislike his job. The management of this TLJ location on Union Street should reconsider their staff as it is creating a very poor customer experience. I typically enjoy TLJ cakes, but this experience with pre-ordering a cake fell far below my expectations.
I love this location, it’s convenient and they have a decent amount of seating. I visited early one morning so I was able to get everything while they were still warm and fresh! The staff are always nice and the restaurant is always clean and well-kept. This is my favorite location and I highly recommend!
One of my favorite breakfast places in Flushing. Bright. Clean. Coffee is hot and good. Pastry is excellent. Pleasant seating. Great value for money.
What’s the point of opening at 7 AM when there’s nothing ready? The manager needs to get it together.Edit: while checking out, the girl at the register squished all my breads and threw them in the bag and as a finale threw the receipt in my face. What kind of business are you running here Mr. KT Kim?
